I'm a Writer, Do you have a Problem?

This blog is mainly written since I have no other work to do. The names that are used in this blog are purely real but I hope and pray that they won’t ruin my life if ever they come to read this blog. This blog was never written to hurt any personal feeling of a certain person, or a community.
If you
are regular at twitter, you would have noticed that #IStandByDeepika was
trending for over a long period of time. When this hash tag was trending, I had
no idea about what had happened. So I decided to know what had happened prior
to this trend which caught my eye. I read few tweets which were given under the
same hash tag and found out that TOI has published an article regarding Deepika
Padukone exposing her cleavage. Though the photos were removed as soon as the
world took a stand at them, due to various other web sites I was able to see
those pictures which shook the entire nation. My initial thoughts about those
pictures were “Perusa onum eliye ba”.
Few days
after TOI has published their article, Deepika got furious (maybe she was furious
at the publishers for selecting those pictures which didn’t show enough) and
issued a statement something like this, “Don’t talk about
women empowerment, when you don’t know how to respect a women” I was
smiling when I was reading her tweet it was as comical as ever, it was like
asking Sunny Leone to wear a dress like this (picture below) and act (I know
both would never occur)
If that wasn’t enough, few minutes later she
tweeted again, this time pulling her own leg; “I am a woman, I
have breasts and I have a cleavage. Do you have a problem?” The first
thing that came to my mind after reading her tweet was
‘Does she has one?’
These two tweets created quite a
sensation in twitter & facebook. Everyone stood by Deepika and poured their
supports to her by slamming TOI. Every person tweeted with hash
stand #IStandByDeepika, making her the most trending topic for more than a
week. I still couldn’t figure it out what made Deepika to lash out at TOI just
for releasing few pictures (I know that TOI did wrong) since there were so many
picture of her in bikini and also semi nude prior to that.; maybe Deepika was
losing the race for number 1 spot with Katrina and Priyanka; so needed to stir
up some fire, which she did with perfection.
As for as TOI is concern, it’s just a
bunch of tissue paper issued every morning which contains news (they think)
which is mild porn (I love reading them though). Unfortunately what TOI printed
is part of the reason why they are the best selling paper in India. I’m also
surprised that people are upset. This is
TOI, what else can we expect from them. As far as Deepika is concern she has no
rights to complain, she is part of Bollywood; an industry which makes soft porn
and shows almost everything. She think that she can earn money by selling herself and showing her skin to some cheap Bollywood films and item songs but others should close their eyes and lenses. Let me remind you that you and your Producers make money by showing heroins in bikini's and when some Publishers try to do the same you talk about women morality; Bitch please.
So on the whole issue, we can't blame Deepika as its her job, we can't blame media as it's their job; as I have no job I will watch both.
So on the whole issue, we can't blame Deepika as its her job, we can't blame media as it's their job; as I have no job I will watch both.
And finally I want to say something,
I am a writer (at-least I think that
way), I have my pen and I write, do you have a problem?
